Transferring a Domain to OxServers

Domain Transfers

You can transfer an existing domain registration to OxServers. Transfers typically add one year to your registration.

Before You Transfer

• Make sure your domain is unlocked at your current registrar.
• Obtain the EPP/Auth code (also called transfer key or authorization code) from your current registrar.
• Ensure the domain is not within 60 days of initial registration or a recent transfer.
• Make sure WHOIS privacy is disabled, or that your registrant email is accessible.

How to Initiate a Transfer

1. Contact our support team with your domain name and EPP code.
2. We'll initiate the transfer from our end.
3. You'll receive a confirmation email — approve it to complete the transfer.
4. Transfers take 5–7 days to complete.
