Managing DNS Records

If your domain uses OxServers nameservers, you can manage all DNS records from OxPanel.

Common Record Types

  • A record — maps a domain or subdomain to an IP address.
  • CNAME — creates an alias pointing to another domain name.
  • MX record — directs email to your mail server.
  • TXT record — used for domain verification, SPF, DKIM.

Adding a DNS Record

  1. Log into OxPanel.
  2. Go to DNS Manager.
  3. Click Add Record and select the type.
  4. Fill in the name, value, and TTL.
  5. Click Save.

Changes typically take a few minutes to propagate when using our nameservers.
