Managing DNS Records
If your domain uses OxServers nameservers, you can manage all DNS records from OxPanel.
Common Record Types
- A record — maps a domain or subdomain to an IP address.
- CNAME — creates an alias pointing to another domain name.
- MX record — directs email to your mail server.
- TXT record — used for domain verification, SPF, DKIM.
Adding a DNS Record
- Log into OxPanel.
- Go to DNS Manager.
- Click Add Record and select the type.
- Fill in the name, value, and TTL.
- Click Save.
Changes typically take a few minutes to propagate when using our nameservers.
